I'm very, very late to the game, but I've started watching What We Do in the Shadows. Enjoying it so far; Matt Berry does such a great pompous bozo and I love the idea of an office drone energy vampire.
Because the word of Jenny, Tep and myself means nothing.

I'm not going to spoil myself there, but it's clear that he just revels in his character.

Just watched the first two seasons of "Tin Star" and now on the third.

Surreal. Episodes have definite plots but there's a leaning toward non-sequitur and a lot of characters have humorously baffling personalities/motivations. It's very pleasant. Maybe sort of like Linehan on steroids.

Surreal is appealing, pleasant takes a step backwards.

Pleasant connotes nicely bland. "We had a pleasant time out." It wasn't awful, more enjoyable than not, but not especially stimulating or memorable.
