Anyone watching the new season of What we do in the Shadows? The kickball game!
YES!!!! Consistently the funniest show on TV the past few years.
Agreed. I refer to myself as "Jackie Daytona, human bartender" all of the time just to see who catches the reference.

I can't wait to get home today to watch the latest episode.
This season seems slightly cruder for some reason, but maybe it's just been too long since I watched the last season.
I haven't noticed that, but that doesn't mean anything. I don't notice much.

We just binged on a great Japanese series on Netflix called Midnight Diner. It's pretty accurate about life in Shinjuku, even if the exterior isn't from Golden Gai. Totally recommend, and I don't watch that much TV.

Four episodes into Y, the Last Man and I'm not feeling it. The story is necessarily slow in building, and I'm fine with that, but there's been an utter lack of tension so far. By episode four, the window for grabbing the curious but not yet hooked closes rapidly.

Ive seen the first 3. The son of Diane Lane's character is pretty fucking annoying. The best part so far was the lady blowing up nazis in the first episode.

Yorrick is supposed to be immature and a fuck-up, so they did get that very right.

Hate might be too strong; frustration is what they should be going for. 355 has a line in episode 4 to that end, that as a man he's grown up expecting attention, of being important just because he has a dick, and now that he really is the most important man, he's proving he's a putz.

Watching Emergency! I watched this show when I was a child and had a mad crush on Randolph Mantooth. I still love the show and I still love him. I'm also in awe of how simplistic and lighthearted some shows were in the 70s. This show wasn't meant to shock and awe, that's for sure.
Heh—this weekend a firetruck passed us and I made a comment about going to Rampart and Dixie McCall. Man, we're old.
Oh, Dixie. Gawd love her. I've never seen an actor underact so beautifully. I want a tshirt that says "administer D5W TKO and transport immediately." Heh.
Speaking of tshirts...

It's so rare that a person gets to use the "I don't read this thread" shiv. I felt blessed.
