Re: FAO Hoy
I mean, I go before too, but the run always seems to churn up a little extra.
Probably my least comfortable race was this 5k where they didn't have enough port o potties at the start and I didn't get to go before the race began. I was cruising for the first couple miles but my last mile or so was just miserable clenching. You'd think having to go may make you go even faster but it does not. Luckily the end was in a different location than the start and they have plenty of stalls there.
Addendum: I guess I should add, I've been running a trail race series and this morning I shaved an entire minute off my average pace from my run a couple weeks before on what was nearly the same course route (had to modify the planned route this morning because there was too much frost/icy rocks on the upper part of the course, lol)

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Trail running is different than road running - the footworking for a fast trail run is a big part of the fun/challenge.

The brother-in-law of a former friend of mine went to high school with CC. Her career turn, he said, wasn't a huge surprise.revbob wrote: ↑16 Aug 2024, 5:08pmCC FTW!!!Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Aug 2024, 5:00pmChristy Canyon gets no respect? Im a fan of Traci Lords. She no doubt had some horrible experiences but she's really managed to make herself a good post porn career and unlike a lot of others isn't a fucking right wing shithead.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Aug 2024, 5:16pmThe brother-in-law of a former friend of mine went to high school with CC. Never saw that but she's tight with John Waters and just in general seems like a good person. Ive seen her in non-porn roles and cant help but cheer for her.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Aug 2024, 5:28pmI remember she was briefly on Roseanne, playing a waitress.revbob wrote: ↑16 Aug 2024, 5:25pmIm a fan of Traci Lords. Glad to hear Nina has socialist tendencies too.
In the end we're all (mostly) selling our bodies/minds to survive so Im not about to judge how someone navigates that.
