Probably late for it now, but my sister and law and her wife, who are basically Boston based foodies, recommend basically anything on this list:

and these were good. not as great as Lemonheads, but good enough.
I liked them better than lemonheads but never understood why the didn't just call them candy coated peanuts, I'd have bought them either way.
