Buttering bread but the butter is too hard so we end up ripping the bread. This shouldn't make me rage so much but it does.

I like that Norpak stuff (well the Aldi ripoff) and funny with it staying out for too long. As I type this I realise how much a first world problem it is.

Take little bit of the butter and microwave to for a short time 5 seconds perhaps...exeriment until it is spreadable to your liking

I keep butter and margarine in the fridge, I could give two fucks which one I use, but generally I'll use butter for cooking and margarine for spreading. It's not nice to fool mother nature.

The trick to nuking anything is to not give in to the temptation of doing it on high. There's real value in learning to use it on level 6 or 7 instead of high.
