"I can read"... but can you comprehend?
Which is the thing with all these "do my own research." I'm not a moron, I can read, and do a lot of it. I'd be completely lost reading medical papers. I don't have the foundation to comprehend that stuff. It's the dumb side of populism—a hostility to and rejection of expertise. Some shit requires expertise via rigorous training and practice. It doesn't make the expert god and infallible, but they do have superior understanding of things in their particular area. But this kneejerk belief that anyone and everyone is automatically just as qualified is bumblefuck. Doubtless Rodgers thinks every yahoo on the street is as qualified as him when it comes to football. Hey, I can read. You're no more qualified to understand football than me, dickface.

The dude who self-immolated outside Trump's trial yesterday had a manifesto, and it's a doozy: https://www.newsweek.com/read-max-azzar ... al-1892368

Some very rough truths smothered by loopy analysis of idiosyncratic (to be kind) evidence.

Well, he had Thiel pegged, anyways.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
