Weird that the Russian government, with its deep rooted commitment to selflessly fighting right wing authoritarianism and promoting the brotherhood of all mankind, is behind the funding and messaging of some of America's more prominent fascists: https://www.wired.com/story/right-wing- ... formation/

Addendum: Tim Pool googling the time in Moscow before sending an email about his paycheck was a week late is the best detail in the whole piece, imho
Tell me that Russia isn't also funding disinformation aimed at the left.

Let me go find my 50 foot poll so I can prod at that issue a bit.

An additional happy outcome of this election would be Silver's rep disappearing into a black hole.

I'm moderately embarrassed to remember a time when I sort of admired the guy - bringing moneyball to politics and such. Man, that was a long time ago (and always an overstimation of his value).

2008 and 2012, yeah, he was so valuable for helping to make sense of polling. But, like Billy Beane, others have passed him by. And that's without the possible conflict of interest of being wrapped up with a betting operation.

I've read speculation that betting houses are pushing the narrative that Trump is the favourite because MAGA voters are (a) gullible and (b) eager to show loyalty with their wallet (see Truth Social stock, Trump NFTs). When polling, voter registration, and donations all point to Harris, talk about how Trump's odds going up does suggest something funny going on.
