What an amazing tribute yesterday. I saw the soldiers when I was coming out of the railway station in the morning and then again at lunchtime. I think I am still stunned.

I said on twitter yesterday, I was rushing through Waterloo station, a little late, while The Mission theme by Morricone was playing in my ears. I banged out of the barriers and nearly bumped into a very young guy in WW1 uniform, perfectly in character. I was half asleep and a little hungover. It bowled me over. Just not what I was expecting. To bump into the generation who were wiped out for no reason.laxman wrote:http://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/ ... y-11552983

Seems quite appropriate in the wake of Brexit, of older people deciding to fuck over the young with no forethought.Silent Majority wrote:I said on twitter yesterday, I was rushing through Waterloo station, a little late, while The Mission theme by Morricone was playing in my ears.
