As others have observed, the conspiracy is so diabolical it obscures all evidence of its existence!revbob wrote: ↑16 Sep 2022, 7:32amThey'll believe anything but the truth.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑16 Sep 2022, 6:28amPatiently waiting for a conspiracy theory that these people reject …

Re: The Trump observations thread
Everyone on that bird site is saying "Trump is f*cked" (just like that, too) by the NY attorney general. I've been seeing "Trump is f*cked" for over a year now. I'm tired of waiting.

Same. Not that I'm knowlegable on it, but just seems to be a bit too much of boy cries wolf about it. Show me the stake through the heart and then I'm buying it!

My faith in this is that the complexity of many of these cases (not the least of which is that going after big game, you need to do it precisely) means it's going to go slowly, but the evidence is there. Plus Gros Orange does not have the best lawyers because the best lawyers actually want to get paid for their work, so being methodical gives them more opportunity to fuck up. As well, I think (well, maybe it's hope) that those building these cases aware that there is a real danger if they fail, that fucking this up could mean the end of the republic.

This is the only hope I have, really. They know who they're dealing with and they're making sure there are no mistakes.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑21 Sep 2022, 2:09pmMy faith in this is that the complexity of many of these cases (not the least of which is that going after big game, you need to do it precisely) means it's going to go slowly, but the evidence is there. The DoJ one, I think, is a matter where Garland knows that not prosecuting and not assembling a really solid case at this point is more dangerous than prosecuting a former president. Once the FBI went in, there's no turning back unless they just give up on pretence of laws meaning anything.Mimi wrote: ↑21 Sep 2022, 2:29pmThis is the only hope I have, really.
