I remember during the 1992 US election, a prof friend of mine said that when his dad died unexpectedly, his mother was prescribed something to get her thru the funeral, which made her irrationally giddy. He said that Bush, towards the end of the campaign, acted the exact same way, which led him to conclude that Bush was seriously doped up at the end.

That's why I have little difficulty believing that Trump and Rudy being pressured/blackmailed. They're sloppy as fuck and gullible to boot. It's not a stretch to conceive them acting inappropriately or revealing stuff damaging to their legal health. Evil but undoubtedly incompetent as all fuck.
