The Good Liars have released their own version called "The Honest Trump Cards".

I'll repeat my reminder that in the unlikely event you haven't completed your Christmas shopping for me (I've invested in a second tree just for y'all's gifts!), then this would be good. Or cash. Cash is also good.
Are you still getting my monthly check in the post?
Yes. But what kind of person can't cover a $3 cheque?

Just give me a couple more days. The horses are going to pay off this time, I know it.

It’s an understandable mix up.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

In my mind Journey = REO Speedwagon. I mix them up all the time.

The inevitable third-party threat: https://www.huffpost.com/entry/trump-th ... 9de1b7140f

I saw someone suggest the other day that for the party to keep him from doing something like this if denied the nomination is for the actual nominee to promise to pardon him if elected. And yet I'm not sure that would be enough for him to be a good boy for the party. All he would see is the rejection.

Even more, so many ex-politicians express relief that they're out of Washington when they retire or are voted out. They go and peddle their ties afterwards and rake in the loot and suddenly discover their voice (e.g., Paul Ryan). Yet the fear of upsetting the base or the monster who speaks to the base keeps them cowed. Cowardly and irrational. He was an arrogant guy—smartest guy in the room mentality—but I couldn't help but respect Pierre Trudeau who regularly said, if you don't like my policies, don't vote for me. He was a guy who refused to pander. (Stephen Harper was the same type, and I had grudging respect for him on that point.)
