Re: The Trump observations thread
Here's Jello's response that Mrs. B posted for those that might have issues seeing FB embeds. Get their asses, Jello.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Pex Lives!

Does Jello hate his former bandmates at this point more than he ever did Reagan, Bush, etc?Flex wrote: ↑07 Jan 2021, 1:55pmHe's even meaner on Facebook, lolDr. Medulla wrote: ↑07 Jan 2021, 1:51pmI assume it's the same as this?

Re: The Trump observations thread
Probably. Honestly, I remember doing a deep dive into all the legal battles some years back and came out with the impression that his bandmates were probably in the right, but this boomer lib-cringe shit that they're putting out (I think we've pointed out how dorky their twitter account was before) is more embarrassing than any of the legal stuff over the years, especially given the political context of the band.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑07 Jan 2021, 2:10pmDoes Jello hate his former bandmates at this point more than he ever did Reagan, Bush, etc?

This exchange yesterday was awesome. I love these two people. Foul language warning, btw.

The Boss showed me this this morning. Fantastic stuff.Kimmelweck wrote: ↑07 Jan 2021, 4:14pmThis exchange yesterday was awesome. I love these two people. Foul language warning, btw.
I mentioned before the historical example of the bloody shirt—19th century Republicans reminding voters that secessionists were Democrats—but the current Democrats are morons and irresponsible if they don't tar Republicans with the sedition tag. Those fuckers need to prove that they aren't fascists—they don't get the benefit of the doubt.
Also, the Boss just read a story about aggrieved Trumpists who feel betrayed by both Trump for telling them to go home and by the right-wing media for blaming antifa (i.e., We did this!).

Re: The Trump observations thread
Unfortunately the Democrats are wusses. I keep hear them say the Republicans involved should resign or this or that. They should be calling for them and their supporters to hang for treason.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑07 Jan 2021, 7:43pmThe Boss showed me this this morning. Democracy = Demo Crazy.
Forces have been looting

Re: The Trump observations thread
The sheer exasperation in the guy’s voice when he says “What the fuck is that?!” sums up the last 4 years pretty well for half the country. The whole exchange is such an oddly beautiful bonding moment between two strangers.revbob wrote: ↑07 Jan 2021, 7:32pmI came to post the Jello response but I see others have done so but this was great.Kimmelweck wrote: ↑07 Jan 2021, 4:14pmThis exchange yesterday was awesome. Re: The Trump observations thread
The attention-seeking brand of Trumper is like the arsonist who gets really cheesed off when someone else takes credit for the fire they started. Great that they feel cheated.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑07 Jan 2021, 7:43pmAlso, the Boss just read a story about aggrieved Trumpists who feel betrayed by both Trump for telling them to go home and by the right-wing media for blaming antifa (i.e., We did this!).

The same mindset of ardent Nazis and Bolsheviks in the 1930s in Germany and Russia. Just mass insanity.
