So, I mentioned before about the house that had a large Trump/Pence sign in their yard and just recently the owner whited out Pence's name. Well, we've been having some strong winds here and the sign blew over. Yaaaaaay. Except now the owner has erected a flag pole (not sure if it was actually there before or not) and has raised a Trump flag. *sigh* I can't imagine loving a politician (or whatever you want to call him) that much to go through so much trouble. It's...weird.

Yeah, I agree. Even if I can reason it out intellectually/abstractly, in my gut I can't understand adoring a politician or expressing devotion publicly. Mind you, I feel that way about entertainment figures, too. They're human beings and flawed as anyone else. A friend of mine was fond of telling people who went super gaga over some celebrity, "You do know that they occasionally fuck up wiping their ass and get shit on their finger, right?" It was just a beautiful and purposefully gross example to remind that they're still human beings.

Some of us just have a raw, animal magnetism that voters can't get enough of. Hard to explain.

Hello,

I've thought about this quite a bit myself. I feel some people are so anti-government (anti-traditional government?) and Trump is perceived to be the sole anti-government leader, they jump on board with both feet.

If you're asking us to equate you to Trump, you're really late to the party.

We've also compared you to Randy Quaid on many an occasion.

He publicly declared that on this day he would be arrested for illegally paying a porn star, and then was wrong about it. That's pretty silly.

First time I've ever been disappointed he was wrong.

Me too. I bet his head is about to explode just thinking about it and wondering when it will happen, so that's keeping me smiling tonight.

Hello,

At least he wouldn't get to perp walk (be arraigned separately, kind of more privately). Trump would milk that perp walk for a ton of free publicity his supporters would eat up.
