Isn’t it time for Ireland to be reunited?
If the unifying cause of Brexit doesn’t do it nothing will.
Not with the DUP the only thing keeping the Tories in power.
This.
Aren’t the DUP against Brexit?
No, they love bad things and hate good.

"We love bad things and hate good all things good" That's the new slogan for the DUP right there. :approve:

Getting my first inklings that it may not happen.

Hard to believe a half-baked tantrum would be such mess to actually enact.

If there was any judgement or purpose which brought Corbyn and his allies to this point, then truly they are the only real chess players on the British political scene.

Crace is is on form

Shitshow didn’t begin to cover today’s proceedings. This was an embarrassment on a truly global scale.

The danger in all this incompetence, as it was in the 30s, is to justify authoritarianism. See, democracy doesn't work, they can say. Never mind that this is actually proof that kleptocracies don't work, but that's how it'll be spun. Great pressure on Labour to prove that representative democracy can actually work, that elected officials don't have to be rotten to the core. Do I believe that can be accomplished, tho?

Democracy works just fine. As you say the kleptocracies will always win as long as people are too lazy to do anything about it. Personally I don't trust any of them left or right to sort out the mess for the countries best interests only their own. It's been a sad indictment of British politics for some time now that finding any faith in these pretenders is virtually impossible.

Some of us can't afford hubcaps.
