There are similar laws coming down in a handful of other states, too. I really hope this backfires on the backward lawmakers of all states involved.

The goal, I think, is to get this sort of thing in front of the Supreme Court. They sure are assholes.

Yup, that's exactly it. Replacing Kennedy with Kavanaugh is the tilt that these assholes have been waiting for, and now they want the SupCt to confirm it.

The worst thing about this is:

These assholes are even in the minority in those states.

Missouri is voting on it today.

Am I the only one who is somewhat troubled that Trump supports abortion in cases of rape and incest?

Ugh, but that walking cancer brings that speculation on himself.

So, as expected, Missouri passed a similar bill and it was signed by the governor. My organization (I love the organization, just can't stand my boss) is going to invite our 5,000 members, volunteers and supporters to sign and send this postcard to their reps (if they voted for this) and the governor. Kind of sums this whole thing up.

Went to the Stop the Bans rally in St. Louis yesterday (they were happening around the US), and this was easily my favorite sign. Also, i think my rally/marching days are done. I've become very cynical and I think activism is better served by knocking on doors for candidates. There's something to be said about lying down in the street and blocking traffic (which some people did yesterday), but it just annoys most people. I dunno.
