I'm a bit unclear as to what I need to do to make sure I'm not surrounded by Christians in the my afterlife.

Seems like that will be the default setting.

A hobo tie-in story! When I was a kid, my dad liked to go for family drives out into the country. My mother would pack a picnic lunch and we'd stop at some roadside campground or park to eat. At one place, someone had left behind this really old and thick bible (at least I think it was a bible; some religious book—maybe the Book of Mormon for all I know). Definitely 19th century. My dad decided it was important and that we should take it home. What's especially hobo-ish here is that my dad was not religious at all. He went to church at Christmas and funerals and weddings. He just thought it was significant. In a dumb movie, he would have signed the family's death warrant, bringing home a portal to hell or something like that. No idea what happened to it. I suspect that after he died and my mother sold the house years after that, it got dumped to Salvation Army.

Such as Spider-man both not rescuing Jesus off the cross yet alleviating his suffering slightly (one or the other, Spidey—save him or let him suffer for humanity), and offering Jesus bacon.

I eat turkey bacon!

I don't eat pork. Not because of the kosher thing, but because pigs are cute and smart.
