But Texas still doesn't require a background check prior to purchase and there's no "cooling off" waiting period either. :disshame:

Hello,

Governor Abbott and many legislators seem demonstrably opposed to any form of gun control or licensure. One might hope this becomes a campaign issue which can change political action (non-action may be more appropriate).

After dinner nearby with my cousin I stopped for a drink at a steakhouse near the stadium in DC. Walking back to my hotel I heard gunfire and was carried my the pulse of a fleeing crowd in to an alley where I hid with others. We emerged after the sea of cops arrived. I saw desperate people compressing the wound on their friend. Fuck America.
