Re: The Future of the Republican Party

Wow, his explanation is sickening. Does he seriously think that's a valid excuse or explanation for such a thing?
It's suggestive of the vocabulary that contemporary Republicans draw from these days. For all their accusations about Democrats being leftists, you won't have many (any?) Democrats looking to Lenin or Stalin for their talking points, yet Republicans just can't help but find a means of expression in the Third Reich.
You also won't see democrats falling on their knees before somebody they want to effectively be their all-powerful king. Not that I like democrats but for all the criticism against them loving big government, they obviously don't like it as much as republicans do.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 11:17amIt's suggestive of the vocabulary that contemporary Republicans draw from these days. There ain't a Republican alive who has no problem with the coercive powers of the state as long as it's used against their enemies.Kory wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 3:08pmYou also won't see democrats falling on their knees before somebody they want to effectively be their all-powerful king. Yeah, smart money says there's more to that. Unless AIG is cancelling policies for every prominent Trump yahoo, I don't buy it.BostonBeaneater wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 9:19pmTee Hee

Maybe because his social media posts seem to indicate he is a fucking nut job and they dont want the liability. Fuck him, he has always been a dick I hated him since he was with the Phillies.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 9:24pmYeah, smart money says there's more to that. Unless he's going around telling everyone that he's a proud (or outraged) AIG customer, I just don't see where they'd care whether he's a Nazi. Nobody would know.revbob wrote: ↑15 Jan 2021, 12:05amMaybe because his social media posts seem to indicate he is a fucking nut job and they dont want the liability. Keep this asshole out of the HOF. He is a piece of shit.
That was great! Just like the ending of the movie Goodfellas.
I'm saving this one, it may just become part of my new email signature!
