I kinda think that depends on whether you cut them lengthwise or widthwise.
These are the kinds of questions that Tories argue amongst themselves with great passion. Thatcher's great genius was calling for a peace and just emphasizing that what unites Tories—that the poor should be humiliated and then killed—was more important than what divided them.

Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
Now *that's* funny and a half. revbob's gonna kick his hackeysack deep into the night.

I think they are hoping that once cut in half the homeless won't be able to walk to the soup kitchens and then will die of starvation. So eventually there'll be many less homeless people. Problem solved.
And they say the conservative party never offers any radical solutions
And it's not like Labour is coming up with comparable ideas!
"The Tories plan to sever all rough sleepers in two is too little, too late. They need to get a grip, get pro-actively ahead of the game, and start chopping those who are getting close to being evicted in half. The British people are sick and tired of half measures when it comes to cutting people in half." - Keir Starmer.

They are describing this as a "shock" poll but I'm not sure we should be all that surprised by it tbh. The real eye opening stat is that 20% of those surveyed said they were either accessing food banks or planning to; in the circumstances it would be more astonishing if trust in politicians were any higher. I think it's really the system that is the problem as much as lack of viable alternative parties and the chances of either major party ceding control of their cosy duopoly are pretty much zero imho. Worrying times, I think.
