All this stuff about Dominic Cummings is truly delicious. This one is personal and they're going in for the kill. Still can't see spineless Boris sacking him. Fun watch, all the same.

Is this all real? So many questions, but first off, people call the evening meal "Tea?" What the fuck is that? Is that Heston-land? If so, that explains a lot about his dining habits.

Breakfast - Dinner - Tea. No debate.

Some parts of the US are Breakfast - Dinner - Supper. That's weird to me though.

Yeah where I grew up, I'd get my head kicked in for saying supper.

Tea. Dinner if you must but never supper.

That's how it was when I grew up. By the late 80s, I'm thinking, we started using lunch. Dinner and supper are used interchangeably (at least in my circle).

The last Friday before Christmas is interesting though. I've lived in a 'blackeye Friday' area for the last 7 years and have never known it to be anything but 'Friday'.

Totally. You don't have a Christmas lunch, you have a Christmas dinner. Point proven.

That's been going for years. My band does a "black eye Friday special" every year at a local pub.

Don't forget in Eton Rifles, Weller wasn't accusing the dude of loading the guns and running off home for a beverage. He was running off home for his evening meal.
