Bracing for another night here in St. Paul. Went for groceries, the grocery store was looted; went across the street for smokes at the gas station, gas station was cleared out. Fortunately the liquor store was opened for a few hours, didn't get hit last night but all plywooded up for tonight. Curfew from 8pm to 6am tonight and tomorrow, probably longer, Minneapolis and St. Paul. National Guard on the streets (haven't seen them yet), protecting fire fighters. 170 plus business looted or torched last night in St. Paul alone, sure Mpls. was much more. Almost out of food too.

Wally, it was THREE other cops there, plus a Park Patrol cop across the street. I'm assuming you've seen the video; something very rare - other US cops (police chiefs) have decried this killing, saying "you don't need to see anymore video" (body-cams and such). Maybe that's what Kory is saying. But of course it will go to trial, and the other 3 will be charged at some point. the charges against the killer are 3rd degree murder and manslaughter, and it's common legal practice to start with the lowest charges they can and then go up as the investigation goes on. I'm certain the killer will be charged with 2nd degree murder eventually and the other three with at least manslaughter or accsessories to murder.
