Tangentially related...people, dont name your kid Tristan or Tristian. Every one Ive known is an asshole.
My former friend named his boy Tristan. The Boss and I couldn't really hide our disappointment that he'd saddle his kid with a name that all-but-assured his kid would either become a dick or be bullied.
Good on ya.

Seriously what is wrong with people
Selfishness, basically. Those kinds of names are for the parents to feel interesting rather than for any benefit to the kid.

My mother used to say that the first job as a parent was to not saddle a kid with a name that would make their childhood tough. I remember telling her about my friend and picking the name Tristan and she just shook her head.

For a couple years in elementary school, I had a classmate named Art. The jokes wrote themselves.

Also, you didn't get robbed, Philly kicked San Fran's butt fair and square, but I guess losers stick together and just keep on losering.

Yeah, SF lost because (a) the Eagles are really good, and (b) injuries to SF's qb's meant they had no offence. Sucks for SF fans, but hardly anything stolen. The other game, tho, Bengals fans have some justification for complaining about the refs.

The Bosa Brothers are idiots. There is a great clip of Joey Bosa getting baited by Philly fans as he was walking into the stadium yesterday.

9ers just ran out of quarterbacks. I think the only fun-to-watch game of the whole post-season was niners/cowboys. Every other game has been dull or bad for various reasons. Worst outcome for SB matchup too. Maybe my most despised SB matchup since 96's Cowboys/Steelers.

Seeing Bosa specifically, and the niners end of game antics and comments in general, doesn't make me wish they'd won tho.

Addendum: the NFL was never going to allow Cincy to win that game.

The way he pranced in the Jan. 6 escape video, I would guess he's more into dressage.

It's still always weird to me that these people don't think to, like check the address for a tweet like this that they are obviously trying to get to go viral.

Apparently fake, though he is MAGA to some extent.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

Glad I didn't share this with my niner fan inlaws then... :shifty:
