Seriously what is wrong with people

The friendship didn't end on child-naming grounds; I could no longer rationalize away his racism/authoritarianism. I miss him but I don't miss the hoops my conscience had to jump thru.

(I'm ashamed to say that while I was on the receiving end of some bullies in junior high, I also had people I picked on. I occasionally get those hot flushes of embarrassment when I think of how I tormented some kids with my “cleverness.”)

I don't recall this being shared, so thanks! I fully admit to not being all that econ literate, but crypto has always smelled of a scam to me, buttressed by the fact that its promoters always come off as untrustworthy slick fucks.
