This makes me so sick. I normally don't "personalize" national tragedies, but for some reason, I went into a severe depression after Sandy Hook. The boy whose family is targeted the most looked remarkably like VH, jr. at that age, and I didn't handle it well. Obviously, this is less than NOTHING of what that family went through. I just get so angry on their behalf that these fuckers continue to murder this poor little boy and the other kids every damn day. And they will do it again, I'm sure, with Uvalde. Look at how MTG and Boebert go after David Hogg. I hate these people so much.

They're attacking people who have undergone something unbelievably traumatic and they'll never fully recover from it. A decent person will respond with compassion when discussing the issue with them. You can disagree on the topic, but you express empathy for what a fellow human being has been exposed to. Mockery and accusations of faking is to deny the legitimacy of what they endured and still have to endure. Like, what kind of person responds to someone who says they don't want anyone else to go thru their trauma by saying, haha, fuck you, you baby faker?
