Crypto is definitely inflated like a ponzi scheme, but don't discount its value to 3rd world dictators, international crime syndicates etc. It is "value backed" by these nefarious organisations and therefore not a total house of cards.
The useful idiots that have been pumping it up deserve ridicule for sure.
