Just the kids?
Well, a lot of them don't improve with age.

Granted, maybe those of us without kids will find this more funny than those who've spread their genes: https://www.theonion.com/idiot-kid-dies ... 1850775348

Last year I left my 10 year old daughter in the car while I ran into the grocery store. It was summer, but not at all hot outside. It was her choice to stay in the car. She had a phone if she needed to contact me and again, she was a 10 - she could easily have gotten out of the car and found me if she had wanted to. Anyway, a store clerk noticed her in the car and went out to ask her if she needed the clerk to call the police. My daughter said no, she was fine. The clerk then insisted on going into the store and bringing her out some water. On one hand, I'm thankful for the clerk's kindness, but on the other hand, the clerk was also being just a tad overzealous.

I can appreciate the competing feelings. Thanks for caring, but there's a certain amount of being unfairly judged as delinquent.
