Hendrix for Hillary?

Post by darter »

I'm pretty sure that was Hendrix on the soundtrack of the Hillary movie at the Democratic National Convention (just before she delivered her eulogy) . But what was the title of the song? And what acid-staggered segment of the body politic was that aimed at? Certainly, Hillary wouldn't actually be trying to reinforce McCain's anti-60's campaign ad that implies that the degenerate free-love/Weatherman Ayers era is what Obama really trying to resurrect ? Nah, she really *wants* Obama to win right? I mean that is what the text of her speech, read literally, plainly means. Nevermind the hippie atmospherics, right?

I thought it was a cut on Obama... "what I really want to know is..." (are you EXperienced???)

It was still a good speech though.

I heard some clips on the radio when the alarm went off this morning. Maybe it works better with visuals—like the Kennedy/Nixon debate thing—but her cadence is very jarring, like an old movie row-butt. As if she can only spit out six words at a time before stopping to refill the buffer.

It's funny what radio reveals about people. If you listen to Condi Rice on the radio, you can hear the nervous quiver in her voice any time she's speaking before people--whereas in recorded interviews she lacks this quiver.

Nice misuse, Hill-Dog, that song is asking if you've taken LSD. Like when Princess Cruises sells their product with a song about a junkie.

Interesting. I've never heard her without accompanying video. And even then all I see is Vader in that helmet of hair.

Haven't you heard from England? Condi Rice is punk.

If the subtext was to make me grateful for JH's tragic early death, it kinda worked.
