ROUND 7 - Rock Art & The X-Ray Style, Side 2
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

LOVE Forbidden City, but c'mon, Yalla Yalla is all-time.

Eh, Yalla Yalla is just so samey and hints at the overlong Global A Go Go songs. It's almost a great song, but not quite there. Then again, it's probably still the best song on the side
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

YY has been such a grower for me. It sounds fresher to me now than it did in 1999.

Both it and Shaktar grew on me a lot after hearing live versions, especially the St. Anne’s ones.

Right, the Yalla Streetcore B-side was revelatory though I now prefer the studio version. Shaktar hasnt grown on me the same way, or, at least there are still 4-5 songs ahead of it for me on Global. Not sure if heard the St. Anne's version, I should look into that.
