Eh, Yalla Yalla is just so samey and hints at the overlong Global A Go Go songs. It's almost a great song, but not quite there. Then again, it's probably still the best song on the side
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

YY has been such a grower for me. It sounds fresher to me now than it did in 1999.

Right, the Yalla Streetcore B-side was revelatory though I now prefer the studio version. Shaktar hasnt grown on me the same way, or, at least there are still 4-5 songs ahead of it for me on Global. Not sure if heard the St. Anne's version, I should look into that.
