ROUND 7 - Streetcore, Side 2

Post by Flex »

Shoulda tried jamming at a more reasonable hour.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead

Tough one. I can’t bring myself to vote against Silver and Gold, because of the ending. But you heartless monsters are gonna save me having to do that I see

I have to say hearing London is Burning has kind of knocked Burning Streets down a peg in my estimation because of how Frankensteined it is. It still may be my pick of the side though.

I've been listening to Streetcore lately and have gotten the feeling that most of these songs were little more than minimalistic home demos on drum machines when Joe died, ala the low-fi drum machines sprinkled throught Arms Aloft and Ramshackle.

Begrudgingly voting for All in a Day, on a coin flip really. These are great tunes.

I believe that's the case. Wish we also had Dakar Meantime and Guitar Slinger Man, but whatev.
