ROUND 8 - The Wilderness Years, Non-Album Tracks, Pt. 1

Post by Flex » 04 Jul 2019, 12:04pm

Not even going to make a joke here. The Unknown Immortal was hands down my fave Joe song and seeing it cut down is painful. It was possibly his best vocal, ever. And the tune and lyrics are some of the most haunting he ever wrote. A moment of silence for fallen greatness.

But the show must go on.

Still wounded by Unknown Immortal going out. I was probably going to try to ride that one all the way to the finals. But given this devastating turn, I'm still sticking with Love Kills.

Shocking! This fucking board ...
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I'd be interested in hearing someone's thinking in voting out Evil Darling over Love Kills or Dum Dum Club. Not meant antagonistically, but would just like to invite some conversation here.

This particular poll is going in complete reverse order to my own personal preferences. I dont dislike LK or DDC by any stretch of the imagination, they are perfectly good rock songs, but i just find the other tracks more interesting, the way joe was trying different things. Right now i wish i still had me a hatful of tennessee rain....

I can’t give much conversation. But I can say it just doesn’t move me that much. I’m probably voting Love Kills, but since this board voted the best song out handily, I kind of want to watch it all burn.

Wally pretty much admitted it was his fault. I move that he be not allowed to vote going forward.
