Youse and me both, baby. Like Rambo said, "Do we get to win this time?"

Post-election analysis will show Heston's Clapton-like comments against GDM was crucial to securing its win.
Heston was spewing vitriolic racism?
Hyperbole regarding Heston's claim that GDM isn't even a song, and how Clapton's comment sparked a backlash. Sincere apologies, however, if my joke was considered in poor taste.
I got what you meant. ;)

Can't believe this "song" beat out Coma Girl.

The Strummer votes have all been about shaking beliefs, it seems. The PTSD cases by the time it's done will dwarf that of the Battle of Verdun.

My favorite Rambo is Weird Al's depiction.

Hell yes. Let’s take this thing.
I bet it will be Yalla anyway. This board is SOOOOO predictable now. I'm disenchanted.

There's a part of me that's kind of shocked that Heston likes the Clash at all.

I don’t think it’ll be Yalla, because I also love that one. It’ll be Island Hopping because I think that one’s just ok but everyone else seems to consider it crucial.

I'd be good with Yalla or Trash City, too. With the exception of “Island Hopping,” what's left is all pretty dang good.

The reason they are my favourite band of all time is undoubtedly because of Mick's melodic touch and arrangement skills, something I felt was lacking in Joe's post-Clash career.

Which I largely agree with. Where this gets confounded is that you look for way too much good in CtC.

It had more melody than most things that came after it by Joe. Who that was down to, I don't know.
