.03% ain't that much, but it was just enough to hinge on GDM.

I'm backing Coma Girl. I think it's perfect.

C'mon, no shame in losing to "Coma Girl." It's only a shame that they likely won't both proceed.

Yes but the groove isn't that good for me.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 2:21pmDon't you smoke pot anymore? It's hectoring Joe but delivered with Beat cool. I can't imagine Joe singing that without wearing the blackest of sunglasses on his face.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

How is it not a song? It has an intro, verses, prechoruses, a catchy chorus. I could go on.Heston wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 2:18pm"Smooth groove' is the problem, I like songs.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 1:28pmGDM has a great smooth groove with Joe playing the role of prophet, delivering the news. You know that I love you like the twin I failed to eat in utero, but to hear you say this is mystifying. Religions have lost members over less astounding assertions.Heston wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 2:51pmYes but the groove isn't that good for me.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 2:21pmDon't you smoke pot anymore? I’m backing GDM because although it isn’t perfect I still prefer it to Gang Gang plus if it was perfect it would have been an absolute masterpiece.

We currently have a tie. I move that voting be ended immediately in the name of all that is good in the world.

Full respect to you for outing yourself as the tie-breaker. You don't want Heston as an arch-enemy, tho.ohsoso wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 4:54pmsorry, voted off coma girl.Dr. Medulla wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 4:31pmWe currently have a tie. The songwriting on these two tunes is so much tighter than anything on Global.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.

It blows my mind that anyone would think GDM lacks hooks. And apocalyptic Joe is best Joe.Kory wrote: ↑09 Jul 2019, 2:53pmHow is it not a song? It has an intro, verses, prechoruses, a catchy chorus. different modes of creating music between the two records, both excellent, imho.
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a bowl of soup
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a rolling hoop
Wiggle, wiggle, wiggle like a ton of lead
Wiggle - you can raise the dead
