This set has me dipping in and out of various AC albums. I really didn't care much at all for Frestonia, but I quite like the razor guitar sound here.

Anyone here ever meet Roddy? Just curious because he seems like a really modest, down-to-earth individual.

Cherry Red seem in general to be doing a good job with reissues. The main criticism I have read in some cases is that the quality of recordings isn't always great e.g. there can sometimes be vinyl rips of some of the tracks.
I was already a Cherry Red fan, but they really got me to promise my soul to them after they issued the Scars' long out of print album.
I've got the box set. I used to have this GMB on a cassette single many moons ago. It's neat.
Just got it myself mate. Excellent work by Cherry Red
Yeah nicely collated. Cherry Red are a bit hit and miss with these things. Taking things from vinyl rips because they are too lazy or won't pay for masters etc. Choping off the end of tracks and poor mastering. But this AC is nice.

I've got the box and also the 'High Land, Hard Rain' album which isn't included. Now I'll have to hunt for the Postcard singles, as well as the Rough Trade issues.
