Missing BBC Radio Shows?

I know this is a longshot, but here goes—as we all know, between 1998 and 2001, Joe hosted 14 radio shows for the BBC World Service. These shows have been free and readily available on the BBC's website, Spotify, iTunes, PRX, YouTube, et al. After the Great Board Crash of '08 when we were all briefly refugees at Strummernews, I came across a thread that contained a post listing out each playlist, but interestingly, there were four that I'd never seen before. Since all trace of Snews appears to have been nuked from the internet, I can't link to the original thread, but luckily I saved the track listings.

10/16/2000 PLAYLIST
1. The Marketts - Out of Limits
2. Bukka White - Aberdeen Mississippi Blues
3. The Saints - (I'm) Stranded
4. Dr. Alimantado - Best Dressed Chicken in Town
5. The Small Faces - Sha-La-La-La-Lee
6. DJ Downfall - The Money & The Bass
7. Tim Hardin - Black Sheep Boy
8. Alejo Durán - María Espejo
10/23/2000 PLAYLIST
1. Manuel Vallejo - El Manisero
2. Johnnie Allan - Promised Land
3. The Jeff Beck Group - Morning Dew
4. Willi Williams - Armagideon Time
5. Manu Dibango - Salt Pop-Corn
6. The Spencer Davis Group - Gimme Some Lovin'
7. The Rolling Stones - Route 66
8. Bob Dylan - Highway 61 Revisited
11/01/2000 PLAYLIST
1. Abdullah Ibrahim - Black Lightning
2. The Doors - Roadhouse Blues
3. Roy C - Shotgun Wedding
4. Inez & Charlie Foxx - Mockingbird
5. Leftfield - Afro Ride
6. The Pogues - If I Should Fall from Grace with God
7. Bob & Earl - Harlem Shuffle
8. Creedence Clearwater Revival - Lodi
11/06/2000 PLAYLIST
1. The Beatles - I Am the Walrus
2. I-Roy - Sidewalk Killer
3. The Jimi Hendrix Experience - Come On
4. The Mavericks - Dance the Night Away
5. The Slickers - Johnny Too Bad
6. Jackie Edwards - Come on Home
7. Thomas Mapfumo - Buka Tiende
8. Joe Strummer & the Mescalaros - Willesden to Cricklewood

I've never seen these shows listed or referenced anywhere except that one post in that one thread, but we have at least two small clues that they do in fact exist: in The Future Is Unwritten there's a snippet of Joe doing a radio outro for "Best Dressed Chicken in Town," and the Tim Hardin song appears on the soundtrack with a spoken intro by Joe. I'd also assume that Joe's "Without People, You're Nothing" speech originates from one of these shows (unless that's just from some interview I've never heard). Anyone have further info?

From this website you can download all the programs and podcasts except the 4 that Howard refers to.

I had also heard about those tracklists but never listened to the programs.

Is there no one here who can help us with a link?

Thanks

Do you remember where you saw them? I still haven't managed to find any info. It's so strange how these episodes have never been in circulation and just seem to have disappeared since they originally aired. Definitely the Holy Grail for fans of Joe's radio show.

Hello Howard,

I am sorry but I don´t remember where I found it, but some years ago I downloaded a .doc file with this information.

Interestingly, that appears to be the same source that the post I saw on Snews must've copy/pasted the track listings from, I remember the albums and record labels being listed out like that. The mystery deepens...
