Trash City live in Boston 1999

Post by dave202 »

I have read that a live version of ‘Trash City’ by The Mescaleros was released on an American magazine/cd entitled ‘Fat City Presents… Bands We Like 2’ in 2005. The track was recorded in November 1999 at the Roxy Ballroom, Boston, Mass. I’ve looked on Discogs and E-bay but can’t find it for sale.
Does anyone have a copy they could help me with, either selling or a FLAC copy?

I found out it's not actually from the Boston show. It's sourced from the same recording of the "House Of Blues" bootleg. I do like how they brought out the congas for this though, adds a kick to the music.

This is a great Clash song released post-Clash.

Thanks. I just bought the "House Of Blues" in my local HMV and see that it's on Amazon too.

Just a thought. In the early 2000s, a live version of 'Ishen' was on the official site. Was this from the same recording?

You're welcome. Any chance I can get the flac files of Trash City and Nothin' 'Bout Nothin' from the "House Of Blues" bootleg? i'm curious if it's from a new source.
I don't know, in regards to the Ishen recording. Sorry.
