Hey Marky, is this designed to sit in conjunction with other albums? For example did you deliberately not include stuff because it was already on official releases? Sorry if it's a dumb question but I'm not familiar with all the nuances of Joe's catalogue.

Yes that's the idea. Where the same songs are included they are either alternate versions or as in the soundtracks now part of the whole project.

Thanks mate. I'm still getting through listening to it. I think When Pigs Fly is my favourite so far. Wreckage in the Ravine is the biggest surprise, but also because there was that much genuinely different material and it didn't make 002. Bizarre.

Richard Norris has said he has more stuff he recorded with Joe and aims to release it. I hope he does as that stuff deserves more love.

Ah good you got it mate. I sent you a message on WhatsApp when I posted this. But I guess maybe you don't use that anymore. Either way I'm glad you didn't miss it. Enjoy mate.

Marky, I haven’t finish to listen everything from you last Joe’s box, I’ve discovered today this track on Apple Music, “Lucky Dog” of Jalle Lorensson with Joe Strummer and The Mescaleros… https://music.apple.com/it/album/lucky- ... =454647131

That seems like it's mislabelled. Jalle Lorensson is a harmonica player and there are two tracks on there that are listed as Joe Strummer & The Mescaleros and I played both and neither sound like the Mescaleros.

Yes, I think you’re right, it’s a mislabelled only.
P.s. your EW remaster it’s better than the original. Especially on Gangsterville where you deleted that strange sound like a carillon.
Cheers mate!

My eternal lost classic “Dakar Meantime” is even more tantalizing now that I have a backing track but no studio Joe vocals.
