As a Gen Z kid who barely got into the clash 4 years ago, I envy those who got one of these certifications. Joe was ahead of his time coming up with the idea for Future Forests; nowadays all the high-profile artists/celebrities are doing stuff like this to curb their carbon emissions. It’s a really cheap (and popular) way for public figures to claim they’re Carbon-neutral, whether they actually care or not. Just sayin’ Strummer did it before it was cool, and he (unlike many artists looking for clout) actually gave a shit. So much so, the scientific community even named a Sea Snail after him.

Thanks man, that's really cool. I was going through some old shit and found this certificate and was like woah, it's been that long! I was thinking conifers in my mind for some reason but that's cool.

He sent it to me via carrier pigeon. With a note attached for the European court of human rights.
