'product may differ to image displayed'?! I can't imagine any sort of radical redesign, and white vinyl is white vinyl!
But, nice to see this out in the marketplace again. The Legendary Gig, etc etc. It got very little publicity when it was first released by Hellcat, I think it might have been some sort of Record Store Day thing. I had a job tracking a copy down.

PS There's been a bootlegs of the show of course

And a Marky version too, right?

I missed out on the RSD version. I think I mistakenly thought it was a bootleg, probably because of the sleeve. I'll be getting the bundle this time.JohnS wrote: ↑01 Jul 2023, 5:49am'product may differ to image displayed'?! I can't imagine any sort of radical redesign, and white vinyl is white vinyl!

Just been looking at the Strummer catalogue on dark horse, nothing has sold out which I find strange...why do you think this is? Streaming/people aren't interested anymore? Poor publicity perhaps? I just hope it doesn't grind to halt and they stop bringing stuff out...003 sounds very promising and I for one will be buying it if it happens

Have they mentioned what's likely to be on 003?motorsmell wrote: ↑01 Jul 2023, 9:21amJust been looking at the Strummer catalogue on dark horse, nothing has sold out which I find strange...why do you think this is? Joe and some other geezers singing around a campfire. Outtakes from the Black Grape sessions and a remix of Boogie with Your Children.Kory wrote: ↑06 Jul 2023, 3:42pmHave they mentioned what's likely to be on 003?motorsmell wrote: ↑01 Jul 2023, 9:21amJust been looking at the Strummer catalogue on dark horse, nothing has sold out which I find strange...why do you think this is? Not very clued up on these things, but seemed to me they pushed 002 pretty hard so i think that was a good sign they have the faith. And noticed Joe was up in the uk charts, singles and album, at the time, though the real significance of that these times, i wouldn't have a clue.

Out of interest what track made the singles chart? I haven't looked at the charts in over a decade.Low Down Low wrote: ↑06 Jul 2023, 4:55pmNot very clued up on these things, but seemed to me they pushed 002 pretty hard so i think that was a good sign they have the faith. Re: Acton Town Hall reissue
Actually had to check this and turns out i got it a bit confused. Joe was indeed in the singles chart late last year, but it was with Rock the Casbah so nothing to do with 002 or the Mescaleros at all. As to why Casbah was back in the charts, top 10 at that, I've no idea. Maybe featured in some blockbuster tv show, as with that Kate Bush track that went to No.1?Marky Dread wrote: ↑06 Jul 2023, 5:00pmOut of interest what track made the singles chart? Edit: i should really look at these things a bit closer. Turns out it was merely the vinyl chart, so I'm guessing it was a record store day thing. Mystery solved (i think!)

Ah ok mate thanks for clearing that up. Hadn't heard of a reissue of "Casbah" so I'm guessing some kind of download only thing perhaps.Low Down Low wrote: ↑06 Jul 2023, 6:09pmActually had to check this and turns out i got it a bit confused. Sorry mate, i was editing above just as you posted. Turns out it was just the vinyl chart i was looking at, didn't see the small print. Never knew there was such a thing.Marky Dread wrote: ↑06 Jul 2023, 6:12pmAh ok mate thanks for clearing that up.
