Im sure it'll be crazy expensive, but it being master built indicates that it'll be a serviceable replica for dentists and lawyers alike.

I'm sure this was said for the $10,000 JS Fender Esquire masterbuild they did some time ago, but no way in hell Joe would have stood for this sort of thing. The regular Mexico-made artist series guitar they were making was pretty neat, even if slightly expensive on its own, but they just dropped that line and I'm assuming it was for this. I'd rather get a used Made-In-Mexico JS Telecaster, or better yet; spraypaint a Player Series Telecaster black and make it my own. But then again, I'm not a dentist and/or lawyer...
Small Edit: a quick look on Reverb.com yielded a pre-order listing of the Masterbuilt Telecaster for $20,000. Insane.

That replica Esquire was made in a limited run of just 70 guitars worldwide - it still hasn't sold out.
And it's half the price of this new one, too. Good luck, Fender.

20000 for a replica of a guitar bodged together in various London squats and for the most part can't be heard on much of Strummers music anyway!! There's not alot to marvel at with replica stuff anyway, I'd like to see the real one as it holds alot of history, this is just fake nonsense. Imagine seeing a punk band using this on stage...I'd walk out.
