Is there any reliable information about any recordings that Joe and Joe Ely made together.?

Ely has said before that a great recording of the Clash and him or clash and Ely's group on stage exists from '79 or '80 but it's just collecting dust somewhere stashed away by record company

I remember in Joe Ely's album called Live Shots, recorded live during his 1980 English tour, inside there were some photos with Joe, Mick, Kosmo, Johnny Green... I never managed to understand if they also played in that album but the photos present prove that live sessions in which they played together really happened.
I took the photos from the internet, maybe they are not very clear, as soon as I get the CD from my parents' house I can scan them better to make them clearer.
You can see Mick, Topper, Mickey Gallagher and Kosmo in the pics. I suppose Paul was elsewhere that night.
That gig at the Hope & Anchor was recorded and there were reports in 2021 that it was finally going to get released.... (fingers tapping patiently on table)

I've worn my fingerprints off

Maybe it's well known to all of you but I only discovered today that there is a cover of SISOSIG by Joe Ely

Joe released a new album a few weeks ago. This is a video from his official channel using a few photos...

Amazing pictures there that I had never seen before, including the Clash playing with Joe Ely's band? Wasn't aware of anything like that!
