Mystery Train

Post by Alyssa »

So I saw this movie for the first time last night. It was the first time I'd ever seen Joe in a movie aside from Hell W10/Rude Boy. I wasn't very impressed with the movie as a whole, but Joe's performance was entertaining.

Of course the main reason why I wasn't very impressed was because I kept wondering where Joe was, until he turned up at the very end of the movie.

Mystery Train is a great film. I like how all three stories are united in the end, and you find out that all three segments happend
concurrently. Joe's performance is good, I got the impression he based the character on the real life Joe.

It's actually one of my favorites. Give it a couple of more viewings, Alyssa, you may change your mind.

Yeah, I think I should watch it a few more times. I think it's one of those movies you have to see a few times to really appreciate. I guess I just didn't know what to expect with this movie.

Walker is next on my list...Thus far Joe in movies has been entirely entertaining

This is an awesome movie and I was a big Jim Jarmusch fan before I saw it because of Down By Law, which is approximately the best "indie" film ever made.
