The Earthquake Weather Album artwork makes a nice looking T-shirt. I searched websites for used 1989 tour shirts. The ones I found were in bad shape or priced to high. I found a T-Shirt maker on-line willing to print the image for me. The colors are not as bright as a screen print, but i'm happy how the direct to shirt print looks.
Nice!

Now go listen to some other stuff.

Had a re-listen to Marky's mix "Instrumentalcore" this week. I highly recommend the last track Ramshackle (reprise). It tugs at the old heartstrings.

I love Instrumentalcore. They were such a good group musically by that point.

During the album sessions, Strummer also surreptitiously sent over a collection of lyrics to Mick Jones, hinting that he wanted to make an alternative album with his old songwriting partner. Assuming the lyrics related to the Mescaleros, Jones worked them into songs
Did we already know this? I don't think I'd heard about it.

I hadn't read it before, so it was new to me, but I'm by no means an expert.

I'm sure this has been mentioned a few times though, as per usual, I'm sketchy on details. There was something about Joe working on Meskie stuff during the day and then writing stuff during the night he'd send off to Mick. That Mick assumed it was all Meskies stuff might well be new info though. Not sure if any of it was ever even demoed or worked on, I'm thinking not sadly.

Yeah that's fun. I have the DVD which I think was released in 2005.

Was just wondering if anything was happening with the subway and turns out there's even bigger plans for it. Looks pretty nice this.
