The Earthquake Weather Album artwork makes a nice looking T-shirt. I searched websites for used 1989 tour shirts. The ones I found were in bad shape or priced to high. I found a T-Shirt maker on-line willing to print the image for me. The colors are not as bright as a screen print, but i'm happy how the direct to shirt print looks.

During the album sessions, Strummer also surreptitiously sent over a collection of lyrics to Mick Jones, hinting that he wanted to make an alternative album with his old songwriting partner. Assuming the lyrics related to the Mescaleros, Jones worked them into songs

I hadn't read it before, so it was new to me, but I'm by no means an expert.
God, what a mess, on the ladder of success
Where you take one step and miss the whole first rung

I'm sure this has been mentioned a few times though, as per usual, I'm sketchy on details. There was something about Joe working on Meskie stuff during the day and then writing stuff during the night he'd send off to Mick. That Mick assumed it was all Meskies stuff might well be new info though. Not sure if any of it was ever even demoed or worked on, I'm thinking not sadly.
