I semi-seriously believe that all Japanese begin their phone conversations with "Hello, chief, let's talk why not?"

Wait a minute. Bart's teacher is named Krabappel? I've been calling her Crandall. Why didn't someone tell me? Oh, I've been making an idiot out of myself!

Joe Strummer was a decent man who dropped a lot of the weight that sent my brain a certain way.

Amazing interview.
Arthur: Do you believe in heaven?

Joe Strummer: Maybe not for me, but certainly for Joey Ramone.
As I just said on FB, I don't even believe in God, but I believe Joey Ramone is in heaven. To believe otherwise is monstrous.

I agree, that is an amazing interview. I first read it in the Let Fury Have the Hour book and cried. It showed just how inspirational Joe was/is with his crazy eclectic taste in music, also how he never stopped caring and thinking, especially about the future and his fans. Some teary-eye things are in that interview. When asked what he thinks he seen as by others, "Maybe a good soul" :meh: And how he was giving out respect to Joey Ramone and passing just before the following year... So sad.
