Well I'm glad I swung back through town before that Jamaica show went away! Looking forward to it! And, to an admittedly lesser extent, the Sid tracks! Thanks, Marky!
Cheers Jon. :approve:

DKs will be up in the next few days.

On multiple re-listens to the Jamaica show, this should have been the live lp to tide the Clash over before a next studio album was due.

Glad I checked in! This Sid EP looks very tasty! Thank you! I'll listen to it ASAP. Thanks in advance for DKs.

My band opened for the DK’s at the Mabuhay back in ‘78. Was meant to be a two night engagement but the second was canceled in favor of an appearance by Sun Ra. How hip is that?

I don’t think there was multitrack recording of the Jamaica show, so would never have been considered for a live album. Glyn Johns was on hand at Shea to record both the Who and the Clash. The Who album is being released imminently. If history is any guide, I suspect the Who’s new mix won’t be as good as the one that was done on the Clash.

I knew your band opened for the DKs at the Mab. Very cool.

I saw that The Who Shea is being released March 1st. I remember buying "Who's Last" in 1984 and being underwhelmed. As they didn't choose any tracks from Shea for that release I'm not expecting much from this one.

Thanks for the info Teddy. A shame Jamaica was not recorded on multitrack. Its a live show I've listened to a lot over the years. What a journey the band had been on, from the debut LP, to Terry's last performance with them.
