I have a lossless copy from a cdr trade on my list, will upload it when I get back home.
Will hopefully be a better source to work with than a crap mp3 @ 128

Wow, I just went from having a lousy 128kbps version to having 3 much better sounding ones. Thank you guys!

I'm under the impression that the Milan 1981 gig is a soundboard. It becomes way more apparent when the bass and bottom end is boosted.

My bad, I thought it was listed as an audience recording.

Can I just say we’re not experts, in fact most people on here have a better idea than we do. I personally don’t come at this grim fidelity but more than there clash changed lives. Cultural, social, political. We make mistakes. Hopefully the audio copy on the page will give guidance on what have.

On a related note, does anybody have the Dils' portion, since they opened this gig? I have it at home, but my source spread it out over THREE tapes, which is nuts -- and I can't find it at the moment, anyway. So I would appreciate any help on that particular score, thanks.

The sound was not good in the hall. A mash of reverb and mud. Very exciting performance though.

Yeah, true enough, though it sounds like everybody got their money's worth, and then some. Back to my request -- there's not a lot of live Dils stuff out there, and since this was a momentous gig for them, it'd be great to have the full show, instead of spreading it over three tapes, like my source did! I'm assuming that's how they got it, which is how I ended up with it. But still, it's a bit weird to carve up what was probably a bare-bones 20- or 30-minute opening set that way, that's all.
