Just doesn't have any life in it. What did you use for the source? Sounds like it was recorded in a tunnel. Was it taken from youtube?

I have bought literally thousands of records in my lifetime. As far as I'm aware none were mixed by Socrates.

I tend not to argue with flat out wrong just flat mixes. Each to their own of course. No harm done it's all in the ear of the listener.

I agree with that totally, whatever makes you happy, I share in the hope my mixes get the the right person not the wrong one...
