NEW!! Bonds soundboard 8th June 1981

Post by LTC »

Fantastic recording of Bond 8th June 1981 has just surfaced, the whole set is split into YT style videos.URL says 1980, mistake on their part but they do go on to write 1981.

These are the mixes used on the Clash on Broadway box (i.e. Lightning Strikes). Five bucks each at Concert Vault for the 8th and 9th, different yet to everything we've already got? Or who knows at this point?

6/8 circulating recording is audience-only with just Bankrobber on FHTE2 being pro-recorded, so that's definitely a new SBD show unless the dates are wrong.

Great and Joe's guitar seems to be in tune.
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

Might just be my ears, but if you go to the Video section on that website and play the Capitol Theatre show, it sounds a lot better than I remember, even with my crappy laptop speakers.

Just listening to the gig from the 9th- much better than the 'In your face' Joe vocal and the other mix where Mick is turned up, this is a balance between the 2 and sounds wayyyy better. Happy fuckin days.
