Why were they still trying to play WA Bullets by this point? Who asked for this?
I mean it's still so much better than the quasi-acapella version from the June 9th Bonds show.
Not a fan of the bonds version, Joe seems to change pitch by the line, doesn't work well. The tokyo one is best, i think.

It was 40 years ago today! Giving this show a listen now.
Great stuff. Gonna do same later tonight.
Hope you enjoyed it as much as me. Let's do this again in 40 years' time.

Best Washington Bullets is from Melbourne 1982!
There's a tiny, tiny hopeful part of me that says you guys are running a Kaufmanesque long con on the board

I always enjoyed this show so much cause it felt like they decided for the night (and Melbourne as well) to go back to the 16 Tons Tour style of "play professional, but play everything fast." Almost a last big hoorah before they went back to play things at a slower pace. The show is at a constant high energy, which I'm sure everything going on the audience that night helped a bit too. London's Burning is so good, with Joe egging the crowd on to dance, and then the stage invasion where all hell breaks loose.
