Hello Marky,

Thanks for your time and effort! I'm not a real audiophile but these sound more intense/punched up - fuller might be the best word.
Yeah the previous ones were very thin sounding.

As I promised Heston a little while back. Here are the CBS outtakes from Oct/Nov '77. I spent a lot of time working these in to a better sound.

Thanks for these Marky. Have you ever had a go at remastering back in the USA by the mc5, I know it's not a boot but it could benefit from a remix if you ask me.

Yeah it's really thin sounding. Landau mixed the bass way to low and it's got no power.

Hey Marky, I just wanted to ask if you'd be okay with me posting that Mescaleros Manchester show from 1999 on my YouTube Channel. It's a really great show and I'm sure a lot of my subscribers would love to hear it. I'll obviously give you credit in the video description. But if that's not cool with you, I totally understand. Thanks again for all your hard work and effort with these.

All fine by me. But can you also give credit to ic1960 (Ian) as it was his recording that I cleaned up.

Here's a nice upgrade of a previous remaster of mine. I've given this to Matedog and I think he's going upload to his YouTube channel.

What's in the upgrade that wasn't in your previous remaster mate.

I have to entice you to buy my goods somehow.

Just a sonic improvement. If you have the previous one the upgrade should be obvious.

Great work as always, Marky. I just listened to another version someone uploaded to youtube and this is a huge improvement. I'm going to add this to my youtube channel as part of the 76-78 retrospective I think next week.
Look, you have to establish context for these things. And I maintain that unless you appreciate the Fall of Constantinople, the Great Fire of London, and Mickey Mantle's fatalist alcoholism, live Freddy makes no sense. If you want to half-ass it, fine, go call Simon Schama to do the appendix.
