cheers Marky. first three words "wow- thanks- great!", as you announced. compared this with another remaster. the balance of vocals and instruments, the atmosphere coming over, unbelievably!

Thanks Again Marky
As I've said before your work rate is astounding and the quality of your work astonishing.

The way you breath new life into these old shows is amazing.
I for one, can't thank you enough.
It's great to be able to bin all my old cdr copies of various shows, replacing them all with

"Fantastic Marky ReMastered Versions"

Cheers CDS. I'm always working on something. I've got plenty on the go but I also revisit stuff from time to time if I feel I can improve on the sound. I like many got ripped off time and time again with disappointing sounding bootlegs. Hopefully this goes someway to rectifying things.

Marky, it's hard to keep up with all of your great work, I was wondering have you done a definitive 01Feb82 Sun Plaza?

Happy birthday Joe. Thanks for all the great music.

Going back to where it all started. Been playing this one all day. Sounds great.

Many thanks, as always, Marky! Really looking forward to giving this a spin. Never knew the correct song titles, that's an additional treat.

Just wish you had remastered Paul's pink socks, too.

That was part of my playlist for Joe's bday, I know it's not one of their best shows but I like it anyway.

Joe was ill apparently. I believe it because he lets out this disgusting ball of phlegm during one of the songs.

Excellent thanks very much Marky. For personal reasons really looking forward to hearing an enhanced recording of this gig.

Also thanks for Brixton. Spent a very enjoyable afternoon yesterday listening to it whilst I was working from home.
Getting paid whilst listening to the Clash doesn't get much better than that during a pandemic :approve:

Nice one mate a pleasure.

I'm working on the Roundhouse gig from '76. A gig I've remastered twice before. But it's never been heard this good before. I've just blown my own socks off it's so fucking great I'm stunned how good I've got it to sound. Watch this space!!!!!

Listened to Bristol last night. Excellent remaster with the added bonus of the last two tracks that I hadn't heard before as they weren't on my original cassette.
Have to listen to Roundhouse and Paris next. Thanks again for Bristol it's greatly appreciated.

As promised previously...

https://mega.nz/file/YRhEySCZ#gOpdcoCqk ... fyt3WRxgEg
This was always one of my favorite shows from this tour. It sounds like they're playing in a bar or something. Very raw and hot-- it reminds me of a 1977 show for some odd reason.
I was at the gig and it was very hot gig was played during a heatwave.I recall seeing a mate outside afterwards and he later told me that he though that I looked on the point of collapse
To give a further impression of what it was like below is a quote I found read on another website from someone else who was there.
I was a big Clash fan too and went to see them 2 nights in a row at the Locarno. 2nd night I stood on the balcony and felt quite sick as the balcony floor bounced up and down. The pictures projected from the balcony to the stage behind the band were moving in a similar but more exaggerated fashion too which didn't help.

Can't comment on whether the above is true as I was downstairs but do remember the floor moving as the club had a sprung dancefloor.

It's a pity that a decent tape doesn't exist for the first night as well as at the time some mates of mine who went to both nights like me thought that the first night was better. I enjoyed both but the second night got my vote as they played WMIHP which they didn't on the first night.
